Hi-Q is the oldest National academic quiz competition that competes in a public setting. Eighteen area schools participate in this program. Each team consists of up to eight students. Students compete three times a year against two other teams. Questions are drawn from Current Events, Shakespeare, Literature, Geography, American History, Sports, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Government, World History, Art History, and Math. After playing 3 matches, the five teams with the most cumulative points move on to play-off matches and then regional and National competition.
