at Schusslers Supper Club
This years flyer information: Oktoberfest
One night in October, Schussler’s becomes transformed into the Black Forest (if at least in our mind’s eye!). St. Thomas Aquinas students, alumni, parents and supporters alike become the Oktoberfest community.
This community of hundreds gathers to share a German banquet, possibly a pilsner, and definitely a polka. High School bus boys and wait staff become veritable polka dancers by nightfall. Ticket holders anticipate their last standing ticket to be the sole recipient (or should I split) of the $4000 pot.
This time honored tradition has surpassed its thirty year mark. Where
as, the underlying goal is fundraising (of course), the overriding result is revelry. Because of our camaraderie, we have taught generations of students how to joyfully reap the benefits of our labors. Adults and students alike have rolled up their sleeves to organize and decorate – dance, laugh, eat and celebrate all that is and will continue to be the sustenance of our school’s life blood.
Please join us each year as we raise a glass to our dedication to Catholic education in celebration at Oktoberfest.
